What, Trunksmashers don’t hit the range or practice putting green before the round? This site seems to be devoted to the demographic convergence of golfers and minimalists.
I want to try and differentiate between playing golf and playing golf like a trunksmasher. Visiting the range and practice green are just part of playing golf, whether you are a trunksmasher or not…or whether you have a keen appreciation for the game or not.
The trunksmasher is a minimalist as far as equipment goes, yes. But not a minimalist when it comes to thinking through the game, discovering new golf experiences, and growing the game. This will evolve.

Hmmm, that is a good way to put it.
